
Paul Elert
Program Manager – Strategic Accounts
Paul joined Quorum in October of 2006. His previous experience includes positions with ADP, General Motors’ Saturn Corporation, and EDS. His career in the computer industry has focused on the automotive business and in particular Dealer Systems. He is an experienced manager with technical, marketing, and sales expertise. Most recently, Paul was employed with ADP, Automotive Retail Group (ARG), Dealer Services Division, where he was Manager, Industry Relations, responsible for the coordination of all Automotive Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) initiatives with ARG. Concurrently; he was serving as the Chairman of Standards for Technology in Automotive Retail (STAR) and was responsible for the guidance of that organization.
As Program Manager, Strategic Accounts, Paul is responsible for the
existing General Motors agreements, and for new relationships with other
OEMs and key large accounts. In addition, where Quorum is integrating
with an OEM, Paul is the primary “DSP contact” for the OEM
and the focal point for integration specifications. As well, Paul is
Quorum’s representative to the Standards for Technology in Automotive
Retail (STAR) organization.
Darren Hawthorne
Network Services Manager
Darren is a Quorum “old timer” having joined the company
in 1997 as a Network Specialist in Calgary. Over the years Darren has
held various positions within the company which have led to his current
role as Network Services Manager. In March of 2008 Darren and his family
relocated to St. John’s, Newfoundland to be in direct contact
with a team of six in the Network Services group. His responsibilities
encompass utilizing available technology to provide benefits to customers
as it relates to the support, implementation, and development of Quorum’s
server solution.
Darren and his family enjoy spending lots of time exploring all the
sights of Newfoundland and getting to know their new home province.
Darren has a B.Ed from the University of Alberta as well as various
industry related designations.
Scott Maroni
Services Delivery Manager
Scott joined Quorum back in February of 2003 as a Support/Implementation
Specialist. He was subsequently the Team Lead in Support for about two
years before taking on the Best Practices Project Manager role in January
of 2007. As of April 2007, Scott manages the Implementations Department,
overseeing the Implementations office staff and onsite teams.
Before Quorum, Scott worked as a Fleet and Lease Manager at a Ford
store giving him the first-hand automotive experience that is so valued
by Quorum’s customers.
There are so many things Scott likes about this company. In his words

Yvette Martin, B.A., M.B.A.
Support Services Manager
After 13 years with SMED International as a Business Analyst, Yvette joined Quorum in March 2003. She recently went back to school to complete her MBA, graduating in June 2006. Now that she’s back at Quorum, Yvette is responsible for new version releases of XSELLERATOR™ working closely with the Implementation and Support teams and Development to determine what features will be included in new versions. Before the versions are released, her team filters and tests the new features to ensure that dealership and manufacturer requirements are being met.
Yvette thrives on change and the dynamic environment at Quorum fulfils that requirement for her.
